In the industrial field, the scope and area of non-destructive testing for internal inspection as well as exterior inspection of products is expanding. In particular, the internal condition inspection for safety evaluation of facilities helps to maximize the reliability and economics of establishing and implementing a systematic maintenance plan for managing old facilities. InnoPlatform is securing precision measurement and analysis technology for various infrastructure facilities such as railroad tunnels, etc. and through this, we intend to create a safer society.

Clinker Monitor

In a 500MW-class boiler, clinker is generated by adsorbing foreign substances, such as dust, generated after the raw material is burned, on the surface of the tube located inside the boiler or at a specific location. If a boiler trip occurs due to a clinker drop, a loss of about 20 billion won per day occurs due to the boiler stop.  As Clinker monitor is the high precision clinker monitoring system  for inspecting clinker in the inside of boiler in  a steam power plant of 1,400 degree Celsius, clinker monitor consists of  a laser  scanner  and four high resolution digital cameras. Using this, a special inspection system that can accurately measure and confirm the presence and absence of clinker in the boiler of a thermal power plant and its location, size, etc. in real time. This system is based oo the innovative core technology based on the  converged data  of laser scan data and image data.

Red Jinseng QC Analyzer

Red Jinseng QC Analyzer is a quality control system to determine the quality of red ginseng by separating the normal area, inner white area, and pore area from the image acquired by transmitting a near infrared (NIR) light source in the range of 750 to 830nm .  To red ginseng samples with normal, inner white, and porosity, automatic classification and thickness and weight measurement are automatically performed by applying a determination parameter to determine the quality of red ginseng.

Development of Vehicle mobile nuclear material detection equipment

The development of a vehicle mobile nuclear material detection device consists of three types of radiation detectors that detect radiation, a signal processing device that amplifies and digitizes the signal output from the detector, and a data transmission device that integrates various detection signals and transmits data to a PC. In addition, PC includes in S/W with built-in data for the display of the detected radiation signal and analysis of nuclide.

At this time, two plastic scintillator detectors and one NaI detector were used for gamma ray detection. The purpose of the plastic detector is to check the presence of nuclear material, and NaI is to determine the nuclide of the detected nuclear material. In addition, a He3 neutron detector was used to detect neutron emitting nuclear material. Each detector was produced to be connected to Windows through USB, but Linux OS was applied to improve processing speed and mobility, and Linux drivers for each detector were developed and manufactured. In addition, a software capable of integrated operation of all detectors was produced and applied.
